Position Summary

As a Business Development Manager, you will be collaborating closely with the Sales team, with a primary focus on proactively reaching out to potential customers. Your main responsibilities will be identifying, qualifying, and successfully closing new business opportunities.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating appointments and new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting activities, 60-70 calls a day.
  • Collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns, while identifying potential leads or opportunities.
  • Demonstrating and educating team members on strong selling and influencing skills to effectively engage prospects.
  • Conducting thorough research on prospective clients to identify & understand their needs and challenges.
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings with clients to present our products/services and discuss how we can meet their requirements.
  • Actively maintaining and updating the CRM database with accurate and detailed information.
  • Providing feedback and insights from prospect interactions to enhance sales and marketing efforts.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably SaaS technology or automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, if required.
  • Ability to work during non-traditional business hours (i.e. nights, weekends, and holidays) as needed.
  • Capability to align with CallRevu’s mission, values and objectives, contributing to the support of initiatives and organizational requirements.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities


Work Environment

This position requires full-time, in-person attendance in our standard office setting; remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.

Travel Requirements
This role is based out of our Cornelius, NC office. Travel may be required, up to 5% of the time (local, regional). Travel would involve the following mode(s) of travel: car, train, and air.
